Desire needed says Clough

according to our manager not enough players are showing the desire to win, that is required.Apparently only 4 or 5 players are feeling hurt after a defeat."The goalkeeper and the captain are hurt.they are with us all the way."That is the goalkeeper who should be playing for England and the captain who cannot do wrong,in Cloughs eyes.In all honesty I cant see managers tripping themselves up to sign the players clough says will leave the club due to a lack of desire.Commons,hulse,addison and green would sell,but what of the rest?

It is the job of the manager to get the best out of his players.Its time he got a move on before its too late.

Those players that he is talking about tho - are they not the ones that have been here 2/3 years i think he said - so no one else could get them to play either - i would rather see one of the subs or acadamy lads play at least they would want to and have the desire to and put the effort in to play- i mean it can't get any worse can it ? so it must be worth a try.

i think he may be trying to justify their wages by playing them.it is a mess,a big mess.And its cloughs job to sort it

This is what makes tonights game very relevant.They will be playing in a possible third full stadium with pressure on their own performances against a decent millwall team who will be up for it.
