See the follow up replies to Eddie, you're using an end of life version of Windows so the developers won't be looking to fix it.

If you can/want to update to Windows 10 I'm told they work fine.

Same here. Got it whilst posting using the back error produced the same message. I can't remember if I closed down Chrome and re-opened or Refreshing fixed the issue.

Not an issue, but a comment for if it happens to others as well:

When I finish reading a forum (rams talk, transfers, pub etc) and a topic has been removed by the mods, the forum remains marked as if there is a thread I haven't read. I suppose I would have to enter in the thread that has been moved so that it gets marked as read, or manually mark the forum as read which is what I normally do? As I said, only an observation.
