If Joe Bloggs who struggles to pay all his bills can pay tax then I'm sure Messi, Mourinho and Co can cope. If they want to pay less tax then swap with us. Hasn't Ronaldo spat his dummy out now? No problem with them being blessed with such talent that they command salaries of such astronomic proportions. But then you hear that some of the earnings are for "image rights" rather than doing football stuff. And the rights are owned by offshore companies (of course). Which are set up in that way of course because footballers and managers expect to move around many different tax jurisdictions. It all stinks. It's probably driven by the greed of agents desperately trying to justify their 10% or whatever. Makes me sick tbh. How much money do these people need?
