The strength of feeling on this site serves to show how important this programme was.

One of the advantages of living in a fairly liberal society is being able to discuss the issues openly  (albeit with occasional abuse!).

We should be outraged at the police for not investigating these dirty bstards. We should demand that money is spent on ensuring care homes and children at risk are protected instead of cutting corporation tax and allowing tax avoidance to be more important.

I really wish people would get angry about the important stuff instead of worrying about the rich so much.

Spot on, but what the programme didn't show were the hours Police spend doing missing from home reports, the hours spent finding the girls, talking to them, trying to get them to report stuff only to be told to fook off... in the end there's no point trying to get them to support a prosecution because they just won't.

Id like to think that there's not a frontline bobby in England that wouldn't do the right thing when it comes to children.

Problem came from higher up and as much as people don't like to hear it, two tier policing caused this whole stinking mess.

Nothing's changed.

There is one good thing that will come of this though, I'm pretty sure most teenage girls in the care system will watch it and think twice.
