Sam Hughes - Joined Leicester City

Recommended Posts

It'll be interesting to follow his progress, particularly since we were linked with him -  you'd think a fee of around £120k would have been worth a gamble.

Who's to say we didnt bid for him. Got to be difficult to turn the prem side down if you have multiple offers, especially if they can use Vardy as an example of non-League to international . Imagine he'll be loaned back out before long.

I'm surprised a mod hasn't seen the potential in changing the thread title to 'Hughes - joined Leicester City'.

I guess it's not just players who are on the beach now.

We are not complete wums.... well some of us...

Will be interesting to see how he turns out for us, I've got a good feeling about him. A Chester fan was comparing him to John Sjoberg, one of the players my Dad's always rattling on about .

John Sjoberg was a tough defender but had the turning circle of the Torrey Canyon.
