You're naive as **** if you think he'd stay here for the rest of his career if a better offer came along for him. Unlike you, I don't claim to know the thinking of someone I've never met. Boring, boring, boring.
Warren Hobhead
I love Bryson. I rate him as a player but having spent time with him he's one of the good guys at Derby. Team Player.

Irrelevant how much he's earned. Who knows what the next 50-60 years has in store for him, his family and friends. I'm not a big fan of Bryson as a player but I don't think he's done anything "disloyal". Me neither. I just suggested he's hardly short of a bob or two. As I say, top man. It's this kind of commitment and attitude we, as fans, surely want from our players, isn't it? Top stuff from a player that maybe should have been our captain for the last few years... http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p051d1r3 Indeed it is, we need more players with his sort of attitude in our team imo. However, if must be said if we go into next season expecting him to play any sort of a major role in our team then we're not going anywhere fast. Great players to keep in the dressing room tho so considering how little we'd get for him at his age, he's one to keep I would say

MuespachRam
an average player who more than likely wont get into our matchday squad next season says he would stay here forever....of course he would, he will never get these sorts of wages anywhere else, ever. Why wouldn't he stay here? I know I would!

Bris Vegas
I wonder if he'd say the same if he was on £1,000 a week rather than 20x that. I don't doubt he's a nice guy who has probably grown to be fond of the club, but let's not kid ourselves here, the overriding factor is the money he is being paid. As has been mentioned, of course he'd love to stay here for the rest of his career earning what he does now. who wouldn't considering his age and declining influence? He also has a very dry sense of humour which betrays a keen intelligence.

Cant we all say that though regardless of what we do or get paid? You might love your job, i dont know, but if you do would you still do it if they came along and said we want to reduce your salary by 80% ? Of course you wouldnt keep doing it no matter how much you loved it. So no i doubt he would stay if his (supposed 20k plus salary and how do we know for sure) was reduce to 1k.... Even after tax he will have earned more in his 5 years at Derby than most, if not all, of us will earn in a lifetime. Still a top man though. You know what's cool, securing your children's future. Do you know what's even cooler? Securing your dead children's future. I bet David James thought he was set for money...
Sexydadbod
He's a great guy and has been a great servant but I'd personally sell him. If not, I wouldn't mind him higher up the pitch but he is useless as one of the 2 sitting midfielders. Maybe a backup to a Vydra.

Carl Sagan
Let's not forget I have his boots that he wore to score the first hattrick against the gumps for century! Definitely a top, top man. I think the Burnley thing was because it appeared that there was a low (750k) release clause in his contract that Burnley exercised and then it appeared we said they couldn't buy him for that, just talk to him. It seemed we behaved badly over it, but who knows what really goes on in these discussions, and he got a payrise as a result. The biggest decision of McClaren's time here was who to pick for the playoff final midfield and he went with Hughes and Hendrick, despite Bryson's free scoring all season. Might things have been different?
