For your information, everybody out on St George's Day was busy getting drunk lol

And hijacked by the NF and EDL?

What a load of small minded, reactionary left wing cobblers...

Hmmm everybody? Don't think so.

So alright you might get a few who will use it for they're own political ends... like they you do on this forum, for example lol

It don't mean they represent the majority..

It's you who wants to get you facts right....to say St George's Day has been hijacked by the NF and EDL is like saying St Patrick's has been hijacked by the IRA.

But then would be perfectly acceptable, no doubt...lol

what, what is that?

I clicked on the first link, yeah you got me....put me postcode in and it came up with farmer lost two sheep (later found in the next field ) and a local country and western band are having a gig at the horse and hound at 7-00pm sharp, me and @StivePesley were looking forward to a riot in town?

No - I hadn't even clocked that it was St George's Day until I saw the paraphenalia outside of The Neptune

And to be fair there was no EDL/NF style chanting, intimidation, abuse or threatening behaviour - it was just the uniform and the haircuts that were the same

It's probably more accurate to say that the EDL have hijacked St George's Day, but they should be ashamed to associate themselves with people who feel true patriotism. They are nothing of the sort.

Read my post I asked if it could, not that it had.

The facts are that it has been hijacked in the past, I was asking if that could put people off.

I looked on the site and it doesn't mention rioting in pubs, they look like a lovely bunch of people, I think they are misunderstood personally
