Wolves offering Martin 50k per week?

Yeah, totally believable

To be fair, don't they have Chinese owners that are happy to spend loads of money? Could have sworn they were involved in some pretty farcical transfer stories at the start of the season.

Potentially nine million from Wolves alone for Weimann and Martin, i'd be tempted to give them Blackman part of a good will gesture.

Although Martin alongside Vydra is very tempting. We need to start looking beyond the Martin, Bryson, Hughes, Russell era, sounds daunting huh?

Rowett knows his targets, get that piggy pot filled and let him get them asap. I have confidence he will bring in some decent players without a mad spending spree, cutting that wage bill down in the process.

Yes that's correct, they spent 13 million on Helder Costa and were close to completing the deal to sign talisca for 20 million before he pulled out of the deal. Make no mistake they're the real deal, especially with their links to Jorge Mendes

They have plenty of money, more than we do so it's not totally unbelievable. They were close to signing talisca for 20 million last summer. Lambert worked with Martin at Norwich and is his fan so it might suggest that their owners are prepared to back lambert?

Fee is absurdly low considering Fulham were willing to pay more for him and he's on a brand new contract. Try doubling it.

What I find hilarious still is that there has been a huge Martin-shaped hole in this side this season and people are still wanting us to get rid for a pittance. We're on track to have the worst finish in the league since he signed permanently for us and this has been the only season he hasn't played. You'd think some of our fans would learn wouldn't you.

Not sure what you're moaning about this thread? Don't like it then maybe ignore if you don't want to know though.

Explain to Wolves that we out of stock of Chris Martin but we do have alternative strikers available. One of which did score some goals for Reading...

A hardly used, mint condition Nick Blackman. Fun for all the family as he blazes yet another shot over the bar from 3 yards out.

They'll be on that in a heartbeat,

Think GR will want Martin back in for preseason before he considers any offers. Noise from the club seems to indicate he has the power over ingoings and outgoings.

Not sure £7m would be enough to entertain unless Rowett doesn't want him here, especially as the ink has not long dried on a brand new contract.

£7m for Nick Blackman however...
