When was the last time you heard anyone at the top of an organisation apologise for making a mistake?. Football clubs are no different to any other business or political party, come to that.

If Mel apologised, all it would to would be to give more fuel to the haters and trolls. The fans who appreciate the gesture would probably be the ones who would support him anyway.

Uber probably.

most big firms are listed and responsible to the board but derby is just a rich mans toy, so i suppose in that sense he has no one to apologise to not even the ordinary hard working fan who pays his money for his season ticket i suppose this is the way football has gone, you pays your money you takes your chance.and managers come and managers go but chairmen stay until they get fed up and sell for the best price
