REDCAR
Sure you have all checked out the pics of todays training session on the official site. Kev Phillips at the helm (surely his days are numbered??). One thing that dare I say I found rather alarming - how come not one player is wearing shin pads? surely thats first rule in the book? I have coached football for a number of years - granted for kids, but they would not be allowed to train unless wearing. From this pic below shows Pearce going into a tackle with Russell..... none contact?? not having it!!
Fraser_23
I presume, as they are adults, that they can decide whether or not they wear shinpads?

BuckoBeast
Don't normally wear shin pads in training
ollycutts1982
After training with Bucko there's no need with the current crop. Didn't anyone notice that the Brighton players didn't wear them the second half on Friday?
REDCAR
I didn't notice that if honest..... I'd love to know the reasons behind this. Act normal then lads... clearly I'm old school.
Norman
We're practicing how to press one player at a time, chase shadows, put minimum effort into blocking shots and crosses and never making a tackle. Why should we need shin pads for that. Train with the intensity you play in matches for me.

Bridgford Ram
Are you telling me they practise? Practise playing football? I'd not realised they bothered.
Pearl Ram
Aye, you'd have thought with all that rebelling against the manager/s they wouldn't have time.
Derbados
To be honest i cant see any bottle either, i think shin pads are the least of their worries at the minute. . .

Seth's left foot
Probably more chance of getting an injury off their forked tongues, I bet the club is not publishing pictures of any players smiling in case it stirs up the fans.
i-Ram
Disappointing. I was hoping to read that we had bought a new up and coming youngster from an Asian league.

If that was the case it'd be in the transfer talk section, not rams talk, so I don't know why you got your hopes up.
