No crisis just a season ruined by Pearsons sheer incompetence and his awful recruitment policy.

No one out there today were purchased in the summer. Its basically whats left of the Steve Mac era less the key man in Martin and one or two others.

Recruitment is the key to next season. Its so so important we get it right.

No. We're having a mid-table season, and this is what it looks like.

Bad runs and good runs.

Disappointing that this is the case, but shouldn't be unexpected given where Pearson left us.

Think a bit of calm is needed. Everything is always 1 or 0 at the club. Mac's either brilliant and we're on our way to Wembley or he's bottling it again and we're in crisis.

The truth is somewhere in between.

So you are happy with Steve just now I take it ?

This team of players have no passion and no ambition and lack quality and a desire to succeed, either that or we are just an ordinary mid table championship team, drop the delusion of grandeur and stop thinking that we will ever reach the premier league with this set up, the players are not capable of producing week in and week out consistency and without consistency we are going no where.

I'd like to see more of the posters who were drooling over McClaren when we had that easy run of fixtures ...

They are the same ones crying now. Because they are drama queens.

After a win they start thinking we need a 70,000 all seater and start worrying how our team will cope in the PL

Then we lose and the club is a joke, we need to sell everyone on the same day and buy a whole new team. The team has failed for 4 years (even though it's a different team)

As for the easy run. Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds, Norwich and Fulham were in that easy run

Whereas the run we are on now includes Bristol, Burton and Wigan.

Agree with the Pearson comment but the problem with recruitment policy extends to well before his arrival.

What was needed after the playoff final defeat was to bring in 2, maybe 3 quality additions who were going to be certain starters. We've spent big bucks on too many fringe players so have now ended up with a bloated squad of highly-paid individuals but a much weaker starting X1.

Injuries to a couple of key players hasn't helped but that happens at most clubs so you deal with it.

Crisis??? Get real! If you going this is a crisis then what would you have called what was going on in the early to mid 80s' when the club nearly went bust? We're experiencing a very average season which should come as no surprise given all the management changes we've had in the last 18 months.

Yes we are... How many points off the play offs now 10 points at least. And in melt down.

there clearly needs to be a big clear out in the summer... The only question is who should carry it out.

Many of of these players are macs signings or chris Evans tips or both. And Mac has lost the plot.

i mean even darren Wassall managed to get us in the play offs and he didn't have any transfer windows to put things right.

I have more confidence SM will get it right time around. He hardly splashed the cash after the playoffs that was Clement.

SM knows he needs a like for like for Martin and Thorne he has one already purchased in Nugent. Then throw in a few better quality wingers a RB and cm you are onto a winner.
