That's the problem, it's all about results to paper over the cracks.  As long as we keep qualifying, the FA get their sponsership millions, Nike get to flog a new kit, the players/managers get their bonus' and the makers of the crappy car flags make enough to stick their kids through Uni.  The fans just get suicidal...

Rinse & repeat every four years...

Just to keep qualifying is not the right result I'm after, the right result is winning a World or Euro final and if this happened I'm sure nobody would care if the manager was exciting
