Eddie
Give us a quiche and I'll tell you... Crispy pulled pork (I fried it - fancied something different to bacon), chicken and mushroom. We'll have it with home-made coleslaw. Gap tooth ram, Parsnip, Steve How Hard? and 1 other

Eddie
Going to do corned beef pie thing again tomorrow (scroll back 2 pages). The Memsahib's suggestion. So obviously there's at least one thing I cooked that she didn't find revolting. Steve How Hard?

Natco Corn Meal. £1.85 for 1.5 kilos from Tesco. just flour, sunflower oil, a little salt and water. No other ingredients. The tortillas were dry-fried in my middle-sized wok, then sliced up and baked for 20 minutes at gas mark 4. The chili, which the Memsahib is cooking now, will be hot hot hot (hopefully). Eddie
Home-made beefburgers tonight, with left-over coleslaw. Herby ones for the Memsahib, Naga ones for me. Sorry, no pics. Boycie
Rev
I've had a mare! Trying to make a treacle tart, first I dropped the baked pastry, so had to do it again. Then followed the recipe, heating up golden syrup and cream, adding spice and lemon zest and juice. Finally it called for 5 eggs, fold them in then fill the case. Cracked 5 eggs in, but they scrambled instead of folding, so now have a treacle quiche baking away. I'm guessing I should have beat the eggs first, then folded them in?
