Eddie
One of these. Just taken them out of the oven, waiting for them to cool so I can add the jelly. richinspain, cstand, sheeponacid and 3 others
Eddie
And possibly some of this. I had about 250g of pork (a mix of shoulder, belly and bacon) left over, so I chucked in 100g of breadcrumbs, the leftover eggy wash, a teaspoon of Chinese 5-Spice and a chopped red chili, mixed it up, chucked it in the oven at gas mark 5 for an hour and, hey presto, Chinese Pork Meatloaf. Rusticity. Edited March 21, 2021 by Eddie Steve How Hard?, cstand and Angry Ram 2

Looks lovely. I'm still fraught with insecurity every time I do anything in the kitchen. Tonight, we're not having my pork pie or meatloaf. The missus has pulled rank and, like you, we're having 'proper Sunday dinner'. Roast pig in our case. Angry Ram

Saves time, you get that awkward wait between main meal and dessert where if they keep you hanging too long those signals which say I’m full get passed to the brain and you go past it. Combining the two is smart idea really Steve How Hard?, Eddie and kash_a_ram_a_ding_dong 1

Especially if it's bechamel custard made with grated extra-mature cheddar - lots of it. Steve How Hard?
Parsnip
Every week Mrs Parsnip seems to buy another one of those Ninja cookers. We have 3 now and I'm hoping she's about done. Tbf they are amazing machines. You literally throw a steak in, select 'medium rare' and it spits it out like this! We've got one too, great for grilling, air frying and even a one pot Sunday dinner. Parsnip

We have a big red cylinder shaped one which apparently does everything from air frying to yoghurt making to dehydrating - (I dont care about that one) - we have a soup maker (I don't care about that one either) and we have the steak grill, yeah with a probe. That's the one I want to be buried with. Rev
