Pizza.

The base was a dough made from 2 parts Chakki Atta to 1 part strong bread flour.

The sauce was a tomato base with garlic, pesto, oregano and paprika.

The topping was keema (lamb mince spiced with chilli, garam masala and cumin), chicken breast (marinated in Madras curry), mushrooms and onion fried in coconut oil.

It was, to quote Lister, desmegginglicious.

Sounds delicious ?

Thinking of getting a gozney rockbox pizza oven and doing Indian/kebab style pizzas as part of my pop up restaurant business, you know it makes sense.?

Great idea if you are producing a few.

I'm doing another curry tomorrow - may make some stuffed parathas instead of the usual naans.

I’ve always thought these stone built pizza ovens in your garden are a bit of a waste as you take 3 hours to get them to temp, then your 4 pizzas cook in about 20 mins?

Agree, however the gozney rockbox is dual fuel, and most owners prefer to cook with gas.

Made my first-ever Quiche Lorraine tonight (apart from samosas, it's my first attempt at pastry) - turned out pretty well too.

Did you manage to avoid a soggy bottom by blind baking the base?

Yep. Covered it with a baking sheet, filled it with baking beads, baked it, poured the beads back into the jar and only lost one behind the cooker.
