Fridgy still owning the gumps trumps all of those. Happy days.

Martin has been replaced with Nuge. Nobody gives a **** about Angela. Sometimes even good teams lose games.

Worry about something else - it's a great time to be a ram ?

So Nugent is the replacement for Martin? Don't think so. Different player completely..and Martin is the sort we really need.

Hope we have a replacement for the Lansbury signing. Hughes' new contract was a boost but we have major work to get this squad back on track.

Th good news we're not Forest, Birmingham, Norwich, Bristol or Burton. All are in a much bigger mess than us at the moment.

Burton in a mess ? It's all relative really I suppose

ok they'll probably go down but wherever they end up it will be their highest placed finish to a season in their history

Nick Blackman isn't fit yet, that's some good news right there!

On a real positive note, the current playoff contenders are Reading, Huddersfield, Sheff Weds and Leeds.  if we can sort our **** out and go on a run, I would fancy our chances in the playoffs against any of those.

Last night we were without a fully fit 90mins will Hughes, Anya, Christie, Olson and Lowe and butterfield. We were absoloutly battered and still only lost 1-0. If Maclaren can work his magic and Mel allows him to buy the players that HE wants, we will be just fine!

Burton are not in a mess, they are punching well above their weight and actually giving it a go at staying up, Relegation for them will hold about as much shame as Leicester not retaining the title, none.

So being relegated is not 'being in a mess' . Clough has one post-match set of comments and uses them each game.

"We played well , it was just the their two goals that cost us " .

If Hartlepool, Morecambe or Rochdale had achieved what Burton have you would have been lauding them to the hills but because it's a club managed by Nigel Clough you see fit to say they're in a mess? He's not one of my favourite managers and you're right that most of his after-match comments follow a similar theme which may or may not be a fair reflection of the games, but to claim that Burton as a club are in a mess in the second highest tier of English football is clearly ridiculous.

Struggling? - yes but given that they probably have the lowest budget in the Championship by some distance, Burton are where most people expected them to be and as of now, are not relegated!
