Official: Tom Ince joins Huddersfield Town

Latest Updates

We're not going to sell Ince to Newcastle for £8 million when other clubs (like Sheff Weds) are asking nearly double that for players like Forestieri.

Derby will likely make Newcastle pay closer to £20m

Today's market sees massively inflated prices, Ince's real value is probably around the £8 million mark but anything shy of £15 million would be silly.

Consider that Ince is in his best form since joining the club permanently and is on 9 goals so far this season, form automatically adds a few million to the price tag (see Nick Blackman). He's still only 24, relatively young and still lots of potential to improve. Also, we'd be selling to a promotion rival.

£18 million would be the lowest we should be looking at to sell to Newcastle. He's a star and one of our best players, sometimes it's about pricing them out of the market!
