You can not seriously be suggesting that Bent, Vydra and Ince can't score because they've heard we want CM back?! FFS what sensitive little loves they are. Shall we ask them which new striker they'd like to work with? ROFL!

dont choke whilst you're ROFLing, do people still say ROFL?

You've seen all the little one-twos Ince and Hughes have been making over the last few weeks? How do you think Ince wouldn't like to play with a proper hold-up man? Assumption is the mother of all f ups...

they have played together before so I there would be no need to imagine how it would work out?

I think the jokes on you mate.

I cant decide if you are being ironic or not.

He is their player, and Martin is refusing to play, damn right Disciplinary action is needed. Funny how martin is injured only after he has said he has played his lat game for them. Its just Martins excuse. This stinks of Van Hoojidnk and Saido Berinihoo at WBA. Serious faul play by both Derby and Martin, and all because Derby cant move on, and sign a better player who might actually be able to hold down a place in the premiership when we get there.

I think you have pretty much nailed it jagerbob.

Since signing Martin we have signed Blackman, bent and vydra. All for about 11.5m and none have improved us. Bents loan was successful. They will all be on mega money and on more than Martin. This shows how much we've messed up and how desperate we are hoping that a strike we sent out on loan will come back and score goals. There's no guarantee he'll score but I suppose there is more chance he'll score than the over paid wasters that we've signed since him

Very surprised at the lack of flack Pearson is getting for this.

Is it possible Derby, Fulham and Martin could sue him, so everyone is a winner ?  Well nearly everyone !!

Sue him for what? Sam Rush and Fulham's chairman made the deal, Pearson only asked for Martin to be sold.

You raise a very good point about Pearson ,on face value it looks like Pearson made a complete hash of it .However he chose a certain path of shipping people out and transferring players in and it was half/quarter of a job completed  in both area's .

We will never know if he was right or wrong from a footballing perspective long term [leaving aside the alleged row with Mel] if we do not return to form under SM and end up mid table you could say the outcome could  be the same under NP or SM but the personnel would likely to be very different  as would the system played.

What is it that makes it serious foul play by Derby? Rams player out on loan and a contract signed with what agreements therein only the clubs know, but everyone knows that contracts can be altered and renegotiated.

New manager comes in and says he would like the loanee back, initially internally and quietly but only recently in response to a reporter's direct question. There has been no public statement from Derby at all.

The noise has all come from the Fulham end and in particular the manager, who may have his own motives for making the comments. No public statement from Derby or the player.

What exactly have Derby done wrong? There may well have been contact with Fulham about CM coming back. Why not?

You could argue that CM is wrong in having refused to play but so far we only have the Fulham manager's view that that is what has happened. Even he admits he is no doctor. Perhaps we ought to wait and see what happens.

Remember when Liverpool wanted jordan Ibe back from us? We were planning to have him for the whole season, but they just took him even though he had a contract with us, those absolute barstards tapping up their own player.

Ibe supposedly go back to Liverpool after Forest game at the time but decided to have him back few days before the game.

Pearson's 4-4-2 would have gotten us relegated. Before Cardiff he literally had to ask the players what system he should use and what suited them. This would indicate that he had no idea how to make the system work long term and thus wouldn't know how to build from it.

Chances are we would have stayed up this season and ended up in a massive mess next.
