Anag Ram
I am thoroughly bored by the same ten songs being rolled out everywhere I go. However, if pushed to choose a Christmas favourite it might be good old working class everywoman Mariah Carey with All I want for Christmas. All day, every day the same songs on a loop. Drove me insane. Having said that I think the best one is Shakin Stevens Rock n Roll at Christmas. Feel good factor and gets the feet going. Wolfie
I used to say the Pogues but am getting sick of that one now. Mariah Carey is always a good one but my current favourite is this one I first came across on Love Actually:

Weirdly that must be one of the last even vaguely successful xmas songs in chart terms? It feels like all the iconic xmas songs came between 1972 and 1992 - nothing since then that you would label as iconic

Have a like for the Glasvegas reference mate, top band!! As Christmas is essentially an overblown cheese-fest...got to be East 17; Stay Another Day..with its 'don't you say it's the final kiss'...mwah. ..video which is awesome ? When you realise it - in reality - has a really sad story to go with it I think it gets my vote!

A hideous song that reminds me every Christmas that I'm a lonely singleton, thus making Christmas a thoroughly depressing time of the year. Ban it.
