Your Biggest Disappointment In Football

When I was a small kid, living in a small town in the middle of nowhere, with poor transport links, allegances were made on a whim, like sticking a pin in the paper. For some inexplicable reason I followed Wolves, in the Stan Cullis era. Exciting it was, too.

There was one match in particular near the end of the season, when they were chasing a Div 1 title, that they lost and their nearest challengers won (Munure I think). I couldn't eat or sleep for days, literally.

It was only when I moved away to work in London, with a couple of other lads who had emigrated from Derbyshire, that I saw the light, and my allegances switched to the principal league club in my county. As luck would have it, a certain B Clough had just been appointed manager. Little did I know how that would turn out.
