Day Posted December 2, 2009 Share Posted December 2, 2009 BRENTFORD will send keeper Lewis Price back to Derby in January – if the Rams will have him. Price (pictured) didn’t even make the bench for last night’s 1-0 win over Colchester at Griffin Park, while fellow loanee Wojciech Szczesny has starred for the Bees since joining from Arsenal last month. Boss Andy Scott should also have the injured Nikki Bull back by Christmas, while rookie Simon Moore has played his way into contention as a back-up. Scott said: “Lewis Price wasn’t on the bench tonight because we are only allowed five loan players. “He is on a season-long loan, and Derby have the option of taking him back in January, so we’ll see what they want to do. "We’ll assess our loans when we get through December. “Wojciech is loving it here. He has only played a couple of league games in his career but doesn’t look fazed at all, and that is the sign of a top class player. “He is relishing every moment and has the ability to inspire those around him. It is great to have him around the place. “We’ll speak to Arsenal and see what they want to do. MrOrdinary Posted December 2, 2009 Share Posted December 2, 2009 ive never thought price was a bad keeper, his kicking was crap against liverpool on his debut, but he shouldnt be judged on that, i think id off crapped my pants playing in that situation, never mine kicking a ball a bit dodgyy a few times! hope he comes back and gives ratty a bit of competition! allthough to be fair i know a brentford fan and he had an absolut howler a couple of weeks, back where he chucked the ball in his own net, aparently, not good for the lad, he just needs his confidence boosting Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
