Disappointed for the lad to get the injury. It's safe to say that he didn't do himself justice with us although in mitigation, he only got a handful of games in a struggling side so it's understandable. I wouldn't really be fussed if he returned but thank him for his brief service to the club.

We've had more ACL injuries than home goals this season.. Forsyth, zanzala and now Wilson. How many in the last three years? 6 and counting.

Do the research. We are way above the average for teams and since ACL injuries are to an extent preventable it speaks to our stretching and fitness regimen.  We may have all the great facilities but our sports science should be super strong to alleviate these issues. Do the players do pilates reformer, plyometrics, dynamic stretching and such things?  Alarm bells should be ringing inside the club at how we train.

ACL injuries are very difficult to take preventative measures against. The stuff you've suggested does bugger all in stopping them happening.

Honestly your comment comes across as a very naive and arrogant view, do you really think you know better than the highly professional fitness/physio team we have in place at the club?

And all those injuries happened when Mel arrived! #blamemel
