What I have learned today is that it is pointless arguing with people whose minds are so closed.

Yeah you're right.

I'm fine with people having differing opinions but I just hate seeing people spouting out opinions that are willfully ignorant.

Why should I get behind him?

I didn't want him the first time and I certainly didn't want him this time.

IMO his managerial credentials read very poor. He inherited a pretty decent squad last time and screwed it up. What's he likely to do with the current crop of dross we call a squad?

Forget all this 'I have unfinished business' 'and I am sorry for the way it ended' tripe - more like Mr Morris has given me yet another bucket full of cash to take up the position.

Now now Nigel (im not sure which) but its time for you to move on.

The forest job will be up for grabs in the next month or so.

Would you bring back Nigel Clough then @SWRam?

Let me think now, I assume you're a Derby supporter and he is our manager like it or not.

So you didn't want him first time when he took an average performing team to the play off final and to top of the league the following season until it, admittedly, went pear shaped (not helped by injuries).

I do worry that things might not be as good as first time around (except for the final 3 months) but I will be fully behind him and I think you'll find yourself in a very small minority if you're not even prepared to give him a chance.

Hopefully my wilfully ignorant opinions are more cleverly disguised than most, but somehow I doubt t.

Because he is the manager, and him being successful here is more important than you being happy with the name of the man that manages us.
