Some people will have their own agenda some will want to feel important and some will have a genuine concern for the club. Put them together and there will be a lot of hot air and not much else. Well, I'm (by income, job and politics) apparently a middle-class leftie who was a suck-up or a patsy to the Amigos, so that's me out.
