My current order with BIAB (placed it a week ago) is as follows: Gulden Draak Imperial Stout 1 x 75 cl Barista Chocolate Quad 2 x 33 cl Augustijn Grand Cru 1 x 75 cl Brigand 1 x 75 cl Chimay Grand Reserve 1 x 75 cl Chimay Cinq Cents 1 x 75 cl Corsendonk Agnus 1 x 75 cl Delirium Tremens 1 x 75 cl Gouden Carolus Classic 1 x 75 cl Gouden Carolus Tripel 1 x 75 cl Kasteel Tripel 1 x 75 cl La Trappe Quad 1 x 75 cl La Trappe Tripel 1 x 75 cl St Bernardus Abt 12 1 x 75 cl St Bernardus Tripel 1 x 75 cl St Feuillien Grand Cru 1 x 75 cl Straffe Hendrik Quad 1 x 75 cl Straffe Hendrik Tripel 1 x 75 cl Westmalle Tripel 1 x 75 cl Just gone for 'old favourites' this time. I usually run my order up to maximum weight (31.5 kg) - the two Barista Chocolate Quads are cans as opposed to bottles because another 75 cl bottle would have tipped it over into the next delivery price band. cstand

Speaking of recipes, I've just posted the following in the 'Random things that cheer me up' thread... Discovering a new beer that I had in my possession all the time. Take a bottle of Westmalle Dubbel and a bottle of Westmalle Tripel. Remove the caps from both bottles. Pour half of the contents of each bottle into the same glass. Drink. Repeat. It's like the old days of going into a pub and ordering a 'pint of mixed' - but with Holy Water. May Contain Nuts and cstand

Sautee onions and Julienne carrot - perhaps a chopped leek as well. Add a teaspoon of Chinese or Thai fish sauce. Add a couple of pounds of mussels, a bottle of Hoegaarden and steam until the mussels open. Stir in a little cream and chopped parsley.

May Contain Nuts
I haven't had by BIAB order delivered yet, £10 to deliver 21 bottles/cans from Belgium isn't to be sniffed at but doesn't seem to get you a tracking number, but I've consoled myself with what's just (finally) arrived at Tesco Mickleover.. There were only 7 on the shelf, there are currently none on the shelf. Edited August 8, 2020 by Coconut Eddie

There were only 7 on the shelf, there are currently none on the shelf. Kurt is ridiculously busy. On average, it's taking almost 3 weeks for an order to be fulfilled, so I work a couple of orders ahead. I've got one of 18 x 75 cl bottles that was ordered 2 weeks ago, and it's not even gone to 'Preparation of your order'. When it hits 'Onderweg', I put another one in. Like yourself, I'm 'making do' with Karmeleit - but I have had a couple of orders from web-bier.de arrive over the last few days, so I'm sorted for Oktoberfest and Doppelbock beers (plus, my daughter sent me a dozen Barnard Castle Eye Test from Brewdog). sage
Lovely reminder of the Barley Mow at Kirk Ireton. This was their house beer for many a year. Eddie
