Available on a free. Can play CB or LB. Contract not renewed with Juve at the end of last season, sounds like it was due to injury.

He would certainly be an excellent player if he is over his injury. Wages would likely be pretty massive though.

I imagine our average wage is rather higher than what he is earning at the moment.

I can't open the link for some reason. What is it saying?

With a less than perfect start to the season and with injuries starting to take its toll on the Derby County defence the Rams look to Uruaguayan International free agent Martin Caceras.

The 29-year-old defender can play the left back or central defender role and with injury to Jason Shackell Derby may well need to look at the former Juventus and Barcelona star.

Caceres was released from From Juventus at the end of last season and now finds himself a free agent.

His season was blighted in January of this year when he ruptured an achilles tendon. This injury kept him out for the rest of the former season and his contract was not renewed.

Derby county are not the only side after Caceres, and the Rams could be in a three way fight with Swansea and Nottingham Forest for the talented defender. His value was estimated at around £1.5m but as a free agent he is looking to be a tempting target.

This guy was really highly touted by Barcelona at one point. Paid 15m for him Had his kidney ruptured in a game (wow) ? and then fractured an ankle and most recently an Achilles rupture. The Achilles is a bad injury but when you come back your Achilles heel is normally even stronger. A 9 month injury so he's just getting back now since he injured it in Jan.

hed be excellent to take a chance on ... And could turn out to be a stimac sort of maneouvre.
