Get a grip.

Weimann was first choice left mid till he got injured.

Pearson tried Johnson there and there fans cheered him when he got subbed off.

Who do you suggest playing left mid?

One defeat and the miserable sods soon come crawling out their caves.

certainly fits the bill of a fast, direct player. Questions over the his defensive side though, got caught out a few times out of position for Sunderland

On the derbymad website it says that derby have offered 3.5 million. I think he is probably better than Christie.

From what I've seen this is guy is fast as the lighting, but about his footballing abilities I am not overly impressed.

He is not so much better than Cyrus Christie.

Except if Derby ever buys him and he doesn't succeed here; afterwards if he still can run so fast they may decide and send him to the next Olympics in 2020 to represent Derby.

Errrr I don't know..... How about f***ing playing Blackman on the left side, as guess what he's left footed. Instead of putting him on the right and having to come inside all the time, Russell could then play on the right and we might actually have some width.

So take left footed Blackman off the right and put with left footed Russell on the right?

No keep both wingers on the wrong side that will give us loadsa width???? Blackman left and Russell right will provide us with more attacking options than: Blackman on his weaker side and butter field on his weaker side who also has no pace

Surely just swapping Russell with Butterfield should have the same effect?!

What you were suggesting is taking a left footed player off the right and replace him with a left footed player. What is the difference? Why not just put Russell on the left?

And Blackman is clearly struggling on the right and it doesn't seem to bother Russell which side he plays

To be fair Pearson must want the wingers to come inside because we were playing Weimann on the left and Blackman on the right. The idea must be for them to open up space for the full backs to attack.

Its like were were trying to emulate the 4-2-3-1 with the full backs creating the width, the problem is the 2 centre miss are being steamrolled. Derbys soft underbelly is in show once again, we have no steel in the team.

Because butter field is not a wide player

Didn't say anything about Butterfield?

Right that is a completely different argument and a fair point
