Looking forward to seeing Shane tomorrow night, Chesterfield v Derby, but only if he can recreate that Sheff Weds goal! Should be a good night, looking forward to seeing the new 4-4-2 Rams as well!

  • Another good workout for the Rams tonight. Both sides treated it as a competitive game rather than the fun-packed testimonial that SB had. Good to give Shane Nicholson his night tonight - his story is

  • Hopefully we see some first teamers out as I managed to persuade my friend who hates pre season friendlies to go along with me. I can't afford to lose another friend. I'll be down to none again.

  • Another 90 minutes under their belt which is good. Nice to see Bent getting game time, felt a little sorry for him last season when he got literally no time to make any impact, he did well under the c

What sort of team do we expect to put out for this one with? A similar side to the game over in Portugal against Vitoria with a mixture of the U21's and U18's?

Shane's been told it's first team v first team first half. After that, don't know. Shane's coming on for the last half hour to play for Chesterfield.

I was told Saturday by a fellow supporter that it was most likely going to be a mix of youngsters and veterans but you could tell from Powell's post-match interview that they might be using the game to get some more minutes under the belt of the first team players.

Good news to have that confirmed - thanks @VulcanRam .

I'd expect a stronger team playing at Sheffield United on Wednesday.

Hopefully we see some first teamers out as I managed to persuade my friend who hates pre season friendlies to go along with me. I can't afford to lose another friend. I'll be down to none again.

I'll go to this as always liked Shane Nicholson

Really top bloke. Had some demons but overcame them. Wish him well.

4411 again according to DET. Seems like that's our formation

Strong side hopefully it'll be a strong side tomorrow

Can't work out who is playing where if it is a 4-4-1-1.

So many of the players starting have the ability to play multiple positions so it's rather difficult to predict.

Mitchell

Baird Pearce Forsyth Lowe

Hendrick Bryson Hanson Russell

Weimann

Bent

Would be my guess, but we've seen Lowe used further forward in recent games so I don't have a clue.

OK scrap that, Steve Nicholson has just tweeted it out.

Mitchell

Hanson Baird Pearce Forsyth

Russell Bryson Hendrick Lowe

Weimann

Bent

It's

Mitchell;
Hanson, Pearce, Baird, Forsyth,;
Russell, Bryson, Hendrick, Lowe;
Weimann,
Bent.

According to Steve.

It certainly is hard. My guess:

Mitchell

Baird Hanson Pearce  Forsyth

Weimann Bryson Hendrick Lowe

Russell

Bent

Or swapping Lowe-Forsyth or Baird-Hanson or Russell Weimann... so many opportunities!

Baird won POTY the year we robbed Southampton in the play-offs as a centre-half.

Worth a look, I suppose!

Think it's being looked at by Derby as a pre season match than a testimonial

Is this being covered anywhere? (other than twitter, obviously..)
