Posted July 25, 20168 yr Looking forward to seeing Shane tomorrow night, Chesterfield v Derby, but only if he can recreate that Sheff Weds goal! Should be a good night, looking forward to seeing the new 4-4-2 Rams as well!
July 25, 20168 yr What sort of team do we expect to put out for this one with? A similar side to the game over in Portugal against Vitoria with a mixture of the U21's and U18's?
July 25, 20168 yr Author Shane's been told it's first team v first team first half. After that, don't know. Shane's coming on for the last half hour to play for Chesterfield.
July 25, 20168 yr I was told Saturday by a fellow supporter that it was most likely going to be a mix of youngsters and veterans but you could tell from Powell's post-match interview that they might be using the game to get some more minutes under the belt of the first team players. Good news to have that confirmed - thanks @VulcanRam .
July 25, 20168 yr Looking forward to a couple of matches just down the road. Hopefully the blades can behave themselves on Wednesday night. http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/police-examine-cctv-footage-after-violence-involving-sheffield-united-fans-1-8031941
July 26, 20168 yr Hopefully we see some first teamers out as I managed to persuade my friend who hates pre season friendlies to go along with me. I can't afford to lose another friend. I'll be down to none again.

So many of the players starting have the ability to play multiple positions so it's rather difficult to predict. Mitchell Baird Pearce Forsyth Lowe Hendrick Bryson Hanson Russell Weimann Bent Would be my guess, but we've seen Lowe used further forward in recent games so I don't have a clue.

OK scrap that, Steve Nicholson has just tweeted it out. Mitchell Hanson Baird Pearce Forsyth Russell Bryson Hendrick Lowe Weimann Bent
July 26, 20168 yr It's Mitchell; Hanson, Pearce, Baird, Forsyth,; Russell, Bryson, Hendrick, Lowe; Weimann, Bent. According to Steve.

My guess: Mitchell Baird Hanson Pearce Forsyth Weimann Bryson Hendrick Lowe Russell Bent Or swapping Lowe-Forsyth or Baird-Hanson or Russell Weimann... so many opportunities!
July 26, 20168 yr Baird won POTY the year we robbed Southampton in the play-offs as a centre-half. Worth a look, I suppose!
