rezner
7 million is a laugh. At 15 I would sell, but would hate to see him go. Could he turn down the chance though? It would be a huge decision for him. Personally I think it's a lazy bity of journalism

McNair, Borthwick-Jackson, Rashford, Fosu-Mensah and Lingard were all used a fair bit last season. Man City only really played Ihenacho

They criticize Man City for not bringing through home grown players when City's academy is arguably better than Utd's currently. did you pay any attention to United in the last 2 years? Out of them players only Rashford and Fosu-Mensah will go on to be quality, all the others are average for me. In contrast, whilst the city players haven't broken into the first team yet apart from Iheanacho, they have some really talented youth players like Barker and Manu Garcia. I'll put it this way, would those Man Utd youth players have broken into the city team if they were switched around? I highly doubt it, they certainly won't play under Mourinho next season
Sexydadbod
Anyway that's enough Man Utd talk for me for one day. Anymore and I might throw up a little We won't sell both Hughes and Hendrick. The latter will be more likely to leave for me

Chalkey
Considering the following this is a joke of an offer; his age his potential Bradley Johnson was 6 million.
cheron85
Mourinho wants him to fill the home grown talent quota? Hughes is NOT daft... Why the hell would ANY player move if that's the reason?
Papahet
How many games did Patrick Roberts play for Fulham before City came in with a ten plus million bid? Seven million is a insult
RadioactiveWaste
I'd love it if Hughes just said "man u isn't much of a draw for me" But in all seriousness, it'd need to be daft money. Consider how much £7m buys in the championship. I also think he'd end up not playing first team at Utd. So he's better off waiting for an offer somewhere he'd be playing. Still, wouldn't begrudge him moving to a top side, just hope we get better than Johnson+Camara. Or even better, flog Jose Johnson and Camara. Coneheadjohn
I agree that £15 million is the minimum figure.Plus a 12 month loan back to us. I did like the idea of making Baird or another up and passing them off as Will though. I'm sure they might notice though.
Derbyram1983
Agree. When you look at fees for Keane and Roberts and others then will Hughes has got to be worth more. He's not potential he is actually good. At 21 with over 100 games under his belt(correct me if I'm wrong) and can still improve

G STAR RAM
On a serious note, I would hope that Will would look at what Mourinho does with his youngsters and realise it would not be a good move for him. Maybe a quick chat with Bamford will see him right.
