Full marks to @Shangfor the photoshopping of black sleeves onto the new home kit to avoid the backpack straps Imperial Stormtrooper effect:

I've heard that one of the other strips is actually properly black this year and maybe that's the reason for not having more on the home shirt like in the picture.

The other strip is going to be a bluey green. While "blue and green should never be seen" I think it's OK if they're blended together. Not sure when these will be officially revealed.

I'm excited by a black strip and may even do that thing I swore I'd never do and buy a replica shirt. Looking forward to it!

The last black adidas shirt was one of my all time favourite away shirts.

My last two favourite away kits have been purple.

All I hope that on the back of the Stormtrooper home kit we get a Darth Vader away kit. If so I think we should change the entrance music to the imperial march from Star Wars. @The 1884 Group you know what to do...

Id love a cooler looking sponsor though, so I wouldnt feel like a walking advertising board when I wear it.

And here is the second kit, third kit, and whatever kit number you like, it's based on Elmer the Elephant and its wonderful use of colour which enables players to instantly spot their own players squares, the kids will love it, the youth will love it, the mums and dads will love it, the grans and grandads will love it, the auntie and uncles will love it, Jackson Pollock might like it and erm get your orders in quick boys and girls coz this shirt is going to sell faster than Usain Bolts vest, shorts and trainers move on the track..........and I heard The Elephant Man was born in Leicester, always an ugly bunch in a ugly shirt that lot!

This would be excellent entrance music, look out for will Hughes modelling the contentious new all red third kit !

 

Oh how i wish they'd made the sleeves black. The short sleeved one looks so good!
