Three of my mates have tickets to the England v Slovakia game ..... but they are in the Slovakia end!

Should they be worried? Will they get in?

Their partners are, Last week, one of their wives bemoaned the fact her fella hasn't got life insurance!

I am totally against hooliganism, but surely this level of planning makes it almost a low level terrorist activity in which people can be deliberately and seriously injured or killed by what would be termed manslaughter.

How can the FA  be held responsible for people from England who have no tickets and who were legally allowed to travel to cities where matches are being played with the purpose of causing riots at whatever level. I would change the charge and therefore the punishments handed out. Four times on the news it said that six English people were jailed but no report said for how long.

Face recognition technology is now available. We should be photographed as soon as we enter another country. Crowds are routinely checked at big gatherings now. Years ago an american face recognition system could check one million faces in three seconds. probably a lot better now. What is a realistic penalty for hitting someone with a chair?

That bit is very ambiguous. It might have been clear to you, but there was nothing to suggest it was about being in place of innocent fans.

It would also put the clock back another 30 years.

But i'm hardly mourning their passing when I said they could get the kicking, Whether or not it's in place of anybody is beside the point.

Hopefully Thursday will be different but I doubt it.

They deserve to be hauled before the bench?

If they ducked, would they just have to answer to the old bill, or would the beak get involved?

Over the last 3 days I've been tracing a failure in a CICS Cobol onlne transaction, and my brain has finally melted. I blame IBM.

Although ITV's headline implies its English and Welsh fans faults for daring to arrive

http://www.itv.com/news/2016-06-14/trouble-flares-in-lille-as-russia-england-and-wales-fans-arrive/

The mirror has eye witness reports of the Police doing nothing as the Russians prepare to attack, and then let them leave without arresting, yet arrest an England fan. Are the Police scared of them?

The Police clearly do not have the stomach for those that fight back

England don't look good at the moment and need some inspiration,we need someone to get them going by someone making a futile gesture. i
