Uttox, I am as sharp as they come but I don't agree still with the tack he is taking. Pinning a valuation on Bryson in relation to what we paid last year for BJ and JB is pointless. Someone needed to inject some realism into this thread.

I was almost in stitches with this post, iRam. I do not always see eye to eye with you but there is more than a thimble full of humour and truth in there as well. I soon cottoned on but you do spool it out on occasions. i hope to selvage something from this post but you cannot beat hem all. No need to reply just sleeve it as it is.

I'm not saying Bryson's a £5m player, but I look at it in relative terms. If we're paying £4-5-6m for the likes of Butterfield and Johnson then if someone with money parachute money and a few bob in the bank like Newcastle come knocking, that should be a minimum.

IMO, although I would want to see Bryson and Hughes start next season as our CMs, both are going to get a lot of interest this summer, if we had to sell one I would sell Hughes because we just wouldn't get the money for Bryson whereas we might be talking £10 mil+ for Hughesy. Both give 100% every game and care about Derby so don't want either to leave but just a thought.

I get what you're saying, it's about who will bring in the bigger transfer fee to help us. But it's still wrong. If, for some bizarre reason, we had to sell one of Bryson or Hughes (and neither was asking to leave), it would be Bryson every day of the week. You don't get players of Hughes ilk and quality in the championship very often.

Bryson is a hard working player who has become a fan favourite and one of the longest serving in the squad. Yet you could argue that there are other midfielders who could do a decent job in his place. The same isn't true of Will.

We tried getting a replacement for both last season and didn't get it right. Hopefully if we do need to replace either we will be more successful this time.
