Day
Tom Huddlestone and Jermaine Jenas have earned recalls to the England squad for next Saturday's international friendly with Brazil. The midfielders join strikers Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe in the 24-man party for the match, which will be held at the Khalifa National Stadium in Qatar. JJ has 20 England caps to his name but features in a Three Lions squad for the first time since September 2008. Tom, meanwhile, is yet to win a senior international cap but was called up by Fabio Capello for friendly matches with USA and Trinidad & Tobago in May 2008. ‘Crouchy' and ‘JD' retain their places in the national squad and will be hoping to win their 36th and 38th caps respectively. http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/articles/pairbackinenglandfold081109.html

Kris Marina
Better for us, don't we get a fair old chunk if he egts an international appearance?
Day
Unlikely, we would of got more for him had we sold him to cash converters.
Kris Marina
I'm sure we do, we got a base fee and then extended fees based on League Goals, Apps and International Appearances. The deal was worth up to three and a half mill and we got a shitty base fee for him.
Day
I guess the DET will run a story on it if we're in line for a payout, it's ok being called up although he might not even play, so don't start looking down the bargain aisle just yet. Perky1106
We sold Huddlestone for magic beans. Magic beans that the three amigos still probably managed to pocket.

Day
I wouldn't mind an overated Huddlestone in the Derby team right now, the lads got plenty of time at 22 and will no doubt be an England regular in a few years.
