Have people been asked to prove date of birth with driving license or passport after renewing .

I've renewed my season ticket online  ok with 1 pound 50 pence administration charge but had to take  my passport in to the ticket office which I did rather than email  a copy.

Maybe Mel has seen your comments on here and wants to confirm that you are for real....

....only joking Curtains x

Its odd as the same as Curtains it seems, I've received an email saying bring in a proof of age, and I've not renewed as a concession, a little way to go before that. My t'other half went in during the week and did the renewing/paying at full price for both our season tickets at the ticket office.

I guess once they've got people's verified DOB on the system, it will save them asking in the future.

Does seem odd to ask when you're not claiming an age related discount though.

My lad turns 18 a month after the u18s cut off, and they haven't asked for his proof of age.

f you have purchased a new age related concession Season Ticket, before we can send you your new card we need check your Date of Birth. This can be in the form of a Driving Licence, Passport or Birth Certificate shown at the Unite the Union Ticket Office. Once we have confirmed your Date of Birth we will arrange for a new Season Card to be sent to you. New Cards will be posted out in July, in plenty of time for the start of the 2016/17 Season, so please ensure all details we hold for you are as up to date as possible.

this 'twas in mail I received, I presume it's sent to all?

I was told by the ticket office everyone will have to do it as they are updating their systems but it would seem from other comments that might not be correct

First line of the email says it all, just a standard email they have sent out, unless you've changed age groups or a new purchase for a concession ticket just ignore it

I've had the receipt email, and also the thank you email from dcfc. Neither of them mention the age thing. They don't even mention season ticket. Just thanks for buying your tickets.

When did you renew? This email came 5 days after paying

I have an old git's concession season ticket which I have had since the days of the 3 amigos. For the first time since then I have had an email asking for proof of age and it inferred that I had to appear at the ticket office in person. I rang and queried this because I live in Hilton and my brother in law , who also has a concession season ticket, travels down from West Yorkshire for each match and we didn't fancy the match day rugby scrum at the ticket office. I was told that proof of age was a one off requirement and that all season ticket holders would have to provide it. I asked if we could email the proof , was told yes so I did and have heard nothing since. I suggested in my email that the club send out a further email clarifying the situation but, as far as I am aware, they haven't done anything. I suspect you could ask 3 different people in the ticket office and get 3 different stories

If you actually read the email it says you only need to provide proof if you are changing concession category.

I rang the ticket office also and they said you have to come down or email proof of age.

I went down and queued and handed in my passport and they said we are updating our records

I paid 326 pounds 50 pence on the we are derby website and if I had renewed at the office as I had to go down anyway it would have been 325 pounds
