OOH i do hope this story is true !

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/football/575571/Derby-boss-gets-tough-with-his-under-achieving-players.html

HARD-LINE Nigel Clough has ordered 'daybreak to dusk' training sessions for his under-achieving Derby players.

The Rams' squad must report to the club's training ground at 8am ready for an 8.30am start.

Under pressure Clough is putting the players through double sessions in an attempt to halt the club's slip down the table.

The Rams have not been leaving the training ground until 3.30pm - as Clough implements his no-nonsense regime.

It is a boot camp mentality at Derby, especially after the players threw in the towel during their 4-2 defeat against QPR last week.

Clough has brought in the punishing schedule in an attempt to save his job.

So many questions but not many answers. Who knows if its the lack of training, not warming up properly or the coaching staff that are inexperienced. None of us watch training every week, none of us see what goes on behind closed doors in the treatment room so we can only sit here and speculate.

When my mate was in Derbys reserves under Jim Smiths tenure, they started training at 9 and finished at 3.Hardly any difference really.Crap story, although the journalist is probably a nice man who is only doing his job so I shall not get on his back.
