ON THE FLIP SIDE....

ON THE FLIP SIDE.... of all this limbo with what's going with our manager, yesterday's disappointment (having took my 2 sons to their first away game).... and being embarrassed seeing us 3 up to concede 3 late goals.... Can we really let "all" this negativity get in our heads?

The performance yesterday for 80 minutes was superb. I loved being a part of a sold out away end with my boys. Yes they were frustrated at not winning but my two boys are the kind of kids that are the bloodline of our clubs future support. They still walked out the ground asking if we can do another away game. I love the fact they don't just go for a big Prem team... They support who their dad supports and it's great to see.

I think we need to maybe realise how lucky we are. Big attendances week in week out. Thousands of season ticket sales every season and we have seen an owner throw some money at a team. Granted not doing as well as we all would hope, and we all get frustrated - but with the right man at the helm, I think we need to feel excited for what lies ahead. It won't be Wassall IMHO, can't be... So let's just ride out the season and see where it takes us. Learn from the mistakes, clear out any deadwood and look forward to the 2016/17 campaign.

My boys can't wait for Saturday! Let's roar the Rams on to a big win against Forest on Saturday in front of a full house at the iPro.

RC :)

Agree, and one positive out of Saturday, they say you learn from your mistakes so Wassall surely wont make the same ones again - keep with the team that was 3-0 up, i am sure we can beat them. Although seems Fawaz has got in early and sacked Dougie so he doesnt have to do it after next weekend.

Has he gone??

Well the Sun says he is being sacked....so depends if we can trust the Sun or not. I reckon it will be true though.

On reflection we did play very well for 80 mins against a very solid and in form Rotherham side. The last 10 mins just showed how out of depth Wassall is, but if he can learn from his mistakes and get us playing more like the first 80 mins than anything can happen.

The least we can do is get behind the team and beat Forest on Saturday!

You've got it all wrong. Good parenting is teaching your kids that it's OK to leave a match 10 minutes before the end, that no matter how well Keogh has been playing that he's the Devil in disguise so it's in order to chastise his every mistake and above all, make the nippers practice their booing for a solid 90 minutes before bedtime!

Do all that and they'll be true fans for life (or so I'm led to believe by those who know about these things).
