Rampage
Clement is going for an ugly win at Burnley. General concensus developing that we are not playing as a team any more. Shades of the Cox era? Three more bad results and we will be adrift.and out of top six.
Alph
That's worrying because we haven't played pretty for a while. Stick to your principals. If you abandon them when in a rough patch to improve results then what's the point of them in the first place. Nigel used to do that. Come the new year come 442 percentage football and did the results ever change? Nope. It just shat on some of the early promise we had in a couple of those years I think the first thing we should be doing is asking the players why they make life hard for each other. Hospital passes, delayed passes meaning the receiver had less time and space, putting the ball in the sky when the only player interested in aerial battles and doesn't play at the back is Bradley Johnson. Forget winning ugly, Mr Clement. You need to simplify and speed up the team. I dunno how buy they need to understand each others strengths a lot more. No more of this defend and wait for individual brilliance. The quality is there. Why ignore it?
TroyDyer
I'm fearing a comfortable 2-0 home victory. A lap of honour from the gravelly scotch egg.
Shuff264
I think we should really try and get down the wings this game, get some balls into martin so he can actually have some chances to score. Camara should start right wing, thats his speciality and left would probably have to be Russell - ince wants to cut inside all the time and Weimann is a striker. If we can get some good balls into the box, with martin and a runner from midfield in there as well as the far side winger, we might be able to get lucky. Baaaaailey
BACK TO BASICS..... Arguably, apart from Bristol City at home,we haven't put a decent attacking 90 minutes together all season. Our defence is the reason we are in the top 3.So we need to go back to keeping clean sheets, and hope that our quality players can have one magic moment during the game.Grant made some great saves recently, but organisation and confidence much better withCarson.Christie as become a liability again, and Thorne is just not anywhere near fit or having the influence he should have.So for me,being the market leaders we are,we should be going to Turf Moor in a 4-4-1-1 formation with this side Carson Baird (C). Keogh. Shackell. Warnock Camara. Hendrick. Butterfield. Johnson Ince Martin Subs Grant,Christie, Pearce,Thorne,Russell, Blackman, Bent
r_wilcockson
Personally I think the players we have been purchasing this year much more suit a 4-4-2 (or 4-4-1-1 as previously suggested) rather than 4-3-3. This would also give us more presence in midfield where we are being over run as late. I suggest: Carson Christie. Keogh. Shackell. Warnock Hendrick. Butterfield. Johnson. Camara. Martin Blackman Subs Grant,Baird, Pearce,Thorne,Russell, Weimann, Bent

toddy
Not bothered how we do it but we need a win, if Hull and Boro win and we don't, the season for the autos might be over. Let us see if PC has got it in him, this is possibly his biggest test?

So it would have been over versus Middesbro if they had beaten Bristol City, but they didn't, and they play a team bang in form on Sat.
Pearl Ram
PC will be alright Toddy, I've just got off the phone to him, I was telling him where he's been going wrong and the upshot of it is, I've told him to forget about this cautious patient knocking it round the back four bollix until we've got a lead. Use the flanks I told him, we've got to have width, make your mind up who's your best midfield, get service and support to Chris, get B4 in the dressing room and it'll be happy days. At least I think it was PC I was talking to.

Could have done with a game against a struggler to get some confidence back. Need someone to really stand out as a leader and start get the rest fired up. Is carson 100%? Think he gives the team a bit more confidence.
Rampage
Is it just me or is anyone else thinking that even watching us play Burnley on TV may prove to be an unpleasant experience which could only be made worse if we appear to bust a gut trying to beat Man Utd a few days later. Let us hope that there is a big improvement against Burnley.COYR

I thought the leader of the gang was GG but we can't talk about him any more. Shame as I used to have a poster of him on my wall that I got from collecting curlywurly wrappers. Mind you, he probably had a poster of me as a 7 year old on his wall too.
