North_Stand_Ram Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Great gesture by Derby County to give £23,000 share of gate receipts from Saturday's 3rd round FA Cup tie to League 2 opponents Hartlepool. Everything about the club is just brilliant at the moment. So classy from Mel and Sam
Cam the Ram Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 According to the very, very reliable fans of the likes of Forest, Sheff Wed, Brighton, Leeds etc. and even people like Dyche and Fawaz, we're destined to fail FFP very soon. Little bit silly of Derby to be giving away money when they're in such a predicament, isn't it?
I am Ram Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Top class Mel, should send them red dogs on LTLF into meltdown
billinghampoolie Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 brilliant move from a top club puts a lot of other clubs to shame. It might be nothing to a club like derby but 23000 can be the difference between us being a football league club come may and not being.
Alph Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Sean Dyche is desperate to draw Derby in round 4.
LesterRam Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 we should get more love from Jeff Stelling now, its worth £25k to get a mention

Wait for the rumour it's only been done for creative accounting reasons to reduce our tax bill You heard it here first lol
richinspain Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Bit poxy by Mel. He should have ordered Bent to score a last minute 30 yard own goal so that they could have the gate receipts from a replay! Edit: Can Bent kick it that far?

Not even himself. The furthest he has ever had to kick it is 6 yards

Wolfie20 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Bet Hartlepool wish they'd sold us extra tickets now!

Mind you , thinking about it, did that penalty against Reading last season reach the goal line?
harryram Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 This should be standard for all big teams to do
