JAT
Hello all. I've recently embarked on my own quest to grow a decent beard and I've read plenty of comments on this forum referring to players beards and beards in general. So I wanted to ask if anyone has any grooming products they use that they would be happy to recommend. I've just started using products from: http://www.huntsmanbeardco.com/ but I've been a little dissatisfied with the lack of scent. Any suggestions? Hell I might only shave it the next time we lose a game.

Ramshankered
Woop, woop - the day is mine! This is one of those rare threads where I don't feel out of my depth! These are the guys I use - they're pricey but products are excellent quality. Premium beard care: http://www.murdocklondon.com/ I use the beard moisturiser and give it a comb every day - keeps it soft and in a decent shape. Totally depends on how long you want to grow it, but if you're going for a proper hipster beard, I'd recommend growing it out for a bit then booking a trim at a specialist like Murdock. They'll be able to take the weight out and give it some shape. You'll look like a spartan (from the neck up anyway) in no time.

I use a boar brush at the moment which keeps it nice and tidy! How long you been growing your for?
Grimbeard
I go with the abandoned crow's nest look. If you leave your beard as nature intended, you get the added bonus of finding bits of your breakfast around mid-morning. Yummy.

Wouldn't say it's massive, but it's longest then most (still talking beards here ). There's some good tutes on Murdock's site: http://www.murdocklondon.com/how-to-maintain-a-beard/
maydrakin
I decided to grow a lucky promotion beard, therefore I haven't shaved since the start of the season. Wife is getting seriously pissed off and getting a lot of pressure to remove it, but it's working so it has to stay! I'd to think that it's pretty much a three way split between me, Mel and Paul Clement for our success so far!
