They hold secret hearings (despite the desperate need for transparency); they issue bans before people have been found guilty (I quite understand if they wanted to suspend the pair while the hearing was in progress, but why issue them with 90 day bans rather than put them on 'gardening leave'? - almost suggests that they knew the outcome before the hearing started); they leak the verddict before the end of the hearings; they give them both identical bans even though they've been found guilty of different things... This organisation needs to be shutdown and football start again, without any of the people who have been involved previously - and the same probably applies to UEFA as Platini has had his paws all over it for the past few years.... To have some sort of credibility the Independent Ethics Committee had to look independent otherwise the media would come crashing down on them. Think Platini was sacrificed to keep Fifa from going under. Funny how Blatter is ranting and raving about how the committee didn't listen to him or Platini, saying he gave them all jobs and should show some respect. Am I right here in thinking that to try to pull one over on USA was a very unwise move. I imagine that some irritable bod in CIA or FBI or other govt agency has sat there and thought " who the heck are these ppl in Switzerland that try this on USA..
