Day Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 On-loan Derby County striker James Vaughan has this week undergone surgery after suffering a slight tear in his cartilage. The England U21 international arrived at Pride Park on a three-month loan last month from Premier League Everton, and it is too early to tell if he will be able to add his two appearances for the Rams before the expiry of his loan spell. A positive piece of news for James is that the tear is a new injury, and not a recurrence of any past injury. Boycie Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 What did it say on the club website then MATTY?
MattyTheRam Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I dont know, i dont read it. I just get my contacts to let me know.
Perky1106 Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Matty knows everything, even the ml of anesthetic Vaughan will need, the hospital he's at and the surgeon's name. Though if he told you, he'd have to kill you.
Day Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 Everton striker James Vaughan is facing a two-month lay-off after checks on his knee problem revealed a new problem. The injury-jinxed target man has had to come back from his loan spell at Derby County as the Goodison club try to speed up the pace of his return. Vaughan has damaged a cartilage and the lengthy spell on the sidelines also comes as a blow to both David Moyes and the luckless Rams. Boycie Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Not retired Daveyboy. Just given up. You have to have worked before you can retire.
Day Posted October 17, 2009 Author Posted October 17, 2009 I've worked let me tell ya, theres no money in changing plugs you just aint realised it yet. Anyhow...................... DERBY County are prepared to give James Vaughan another chance to impress, despite the injured on-loan star having returned to Goodison. Vaughan last month agreed a temporary move to Pride Park until the end of January but made only two appearances before having to undergo knee surgery on his cartilage that will rule him out for at least six weeks. But Derby manager Nigel Clough would welcome Vaughan back at the Championship outfit should he regain fitness before his loan agreement expires. “We’ll see how his rehab goes,†said Clough. “He’s someone we’ll look to bring back in January if he’s fully fit.†[url=http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/everton-fc/everton-fc-news/2009/10/16/derby-county-to-give-striker-james-vaughan-another-chance-to-impress-everton-fc-latest-92534-24944865/]http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/everto...92534-24944865/
Boycie Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Yes bring him back in Jan, our treatment room will hopfully be less crowded, so should have room to accomadate him.
