RadioactiveWaste
For me would've been a good fit for Rotherham. I bet their fans would come round.I like the Nigel to Sunderland idea, but I don't think he'd save them and the damage to his reputation would be pretty bad. The Newcastle job though...........! rynny
Notts County. No expectations of top flight football.Small budgetNeed to build slowly and steadilyPossibility of two promotions once settledLocal for NigeChance to poke the gumps in the eye in their own backyard.Give him 5 to 7 years and County will be the biggest club in Notts. I have I missed summat? I thought County were the biggest club in Notts followed by Mansfield and Hucknall.

i-Ram
Not really sure he will manage in the Football League again. He needs a chairman/club owner who is unambitious and ready to accept safe mid-table positioning, a bit of a cup run now and again, and unsophisticated football. I do think there are a few pragmatic Chairman out there who might want a Nigel, but none of them have a fan-base to match.
