As a big (but recent) fan of @Mostyn6's Who am I thread I have decided to start a retro one with players from little bit longer ago - I am thinking 70's and 80's.  Lets see how it goes...

ps.  Not sure if this will work!

Edit.  Ok, so the image didn't work

Player 1. Someone like Martin Hayes?

Player 2: I can only think of Jol, (Arnold Muhren played for Man United too so cannot be him)

Player 3. Gary Roberts? Unless he was a manager, I doubt i would've heard of him, finished as I was starting to pay attention to football.

Player 5. Peter Shirtliff?

Still no more right Mostyn.  There are two possibilities here, either you are c*ap at these, or I have made them far too hard :-)

There is another possibility, I'm younger, lots younger than you.

Player 1.. Tony Woodcock?

Player 2, was he a goalie?

Player 3, has he been a manager?

Player 5, Gary Robson?

Youth is no excuse.  I am aware of the battle of hastings but I am not old enough to have been there :-)

Answers to all those questions is no!

Battle of hastings is a world famous event, you listed some lower league footballers, who probably weren't even well known then, let alone now...
