StaffsRam
Unbelievable. I sat watching it and still barely believe it's happened. I don't know if it was confidence or naivety at the end in going for the scrum rather than kicking at the sticks, but either way, bravo! What a cracking start to the RWC
Leon the ram 2009
I was shouting at the Tele "go for the kick" the commentator summed it up saying "brave by name brave by nature" they were certainly brave and thoroughly deserve all the plaudits
needles
Brilliant. That was everything that's great about sport. I might make a rugby convert yet.

CWC1983
Great result for Scotland, Japan will be knackered for Wednesday and the Boks look totally deflated.Too many older players perhaps, I heard they still have 8 from the 2007 world cup in their squad. The nation will be in mourning after today's result.Cant fault the passion and pride these guys show when they play for their nation. Puts the footballers to shame.

Van der MoodHoover
I missed match but caught highlights programme. Very frustrating I thought in that highlights didn't show every score but jumped. Looked a great occasion. The crowd was great. You could see the sa supporters applauding good Japanese play. The Japanese fans just looked so happy to be there. No snarling aggression at all.

Tombo
New Zealand just look so much better though. Wales and Uruguay had this earlier for about 15/20 mins. The minnows are buoyed by Japan's win. They'll have a right good go but I see the All Blacks finishing the job when they come back out. Think Argentina might be a bit annoyed at only getting the kick from that last move because to be honest they weren't far off another try.

Ovis aries
They are minnows now, just because they were semi-finalists a decade ago... Not the same team.
