Confirmed: The style of football will change

Good news or bad, I'm not sure, but George Thorne confirmed that Clement is changing the style of play.

He mentioned that the players are slowly picking up on what he wants to do, but it's difficult as we played a certain way under McClaren and now looking to change it.

I guess we will find out more on Saturday.

Only hindsight will tell us but if we can cut down the amount the CBs and GK pass between each other and we end up doing nothing I'd say that's a good thing.

Not sure this deserved a new thread

It makes the arguments over who will fit the system absolutely null and void though. Now, we know that we have no idea over what system we will play. Good news for Bent, I guess.

saw the thorne interview... Makes it sounds like it's going to take them most of pre season to adapt.

The most important thing from talking points on this forum is that if we aren't going to rely on a DM, we don't need more cover for Thorne than we have. He'll still be played, but losing him if he does get injured may not beckon the end times.

That's just one of those things players just say.

"Yeah new head coach....take some time to gel....picking up on new style.....everything is different yet positive.....looking forward to getting started....want to start well....everything is in place...."

He wants the players to pass the ball to each other...

As opposed to passing it to the opposition or to Mrs Hickinbottom from Chaddo in Row Q

We're probably not signing Bridcutt. Stop putting him in your formations lol
