Wolfie20
Superb player - some of his goals were as good as you would see anywhere in the world. A true one club man who could have gone to any of the top sides of his generation but stayed true to his roots.
i-Ram
Had a few nights out with Matt when I used to live in Southampton. Unassuming guy, and remarkably talented footballer. Take my hat off to him for being a one club man, but would have loved to seen him play in a really good team.
Day
Played for Southampton and Eastleigh, wasn't a one club player in the end....
Guest
What an absolutely fantastic player, he was a delight to watch. How he did not get more England caps I will never know.Recently overheard Chris Kamara saying that he is not liked by the Sky Sports Soccer Saturday bunch as something has gone off between him/Merson/Stelling

Pearl Ram
Did not watch it towards the end of last season but is it true that Le Tiss was not appearing on it?I'm pretty sure he was more or less an ever present last season, but you've got me wondering now, I wouldn't miss either Kamara or Merson, Kamara has become a bit of a parody, I'm a bit bored of the "unbelievable Jeff" when nothing unbelievable has happened, and Merson, well, he's a scruffy looking get. All that said, I do like Stelling, I'll be keeping an eye on it this season though to see if they are doing the business on Le Tiss.
Dimmu
Le Tissier was one of my all-time favourites, scored some unforgettable goals! But he ain't half as classy as Kamara:

LesterRam
Le Tiss was a classy player, always thought if he was at Man Utd he would have been regarded as one the world greats, regarding Kam I wonder why they send him to grounds, most of the time he hasn't got a clue who scored, if any !!! Sexydadbod
I remember watching him in his pomp. He was a fantastic player and scored great goals, although he was admittedly quite chubby and lazy. It's a disgrace that he didn't get more caps for England. I'm not sure if he qualified to play for France but if he did I bet he regrets not choosing them, especially because they won the world cup in 1998

Don't know if he's got a French grand parent or something. With a name like that, if say he's got more Viking origins.
Minneapolis Town Tractor
Would be worth around twenty five to thirty million in todays market, maybe more. Remember him well, played his entire time with Southampton if correct and was eligible for international level with France but declined the offer to gain an England call-up. Maybe in retrospect it was a decision he lived to regret but you couldn't argue his ability at domestic level. Deserved to win something, but was part of a Southampton team over the whole time that wasn't really equipped enough to challenge for honors. Too bad Shearer didn't stay on also, that would have been some partnership.Remember a number of high profile clubs such as MUFC and Liverpool were after his signature but he remained loyal and stayed on the South Coast. That's something to be admired but if he had the chance to go back in time and make the decision once again I think he'd do it.
Inverurie Ram
Enjoyed watching that and it brought back distant memory's of how disappointed I was with Hoddle for not picking Matt Le Tissier and then Hoddle dropping Gazza. And Matt Le Tissier just explaining on this, how he found out he had not made the England squad on Teletext and that Hoddle hadn't contacted him, whereas Hoddle had contacted other players. Sounds all a bit like Hoddle not wanting players in his own mould not wanting to achieve and do more magical things than himself in an England shirt to me. Hoddle still comes across that way when commentating on England games, full of himself. But quite happy to pick Chris Waddle.........what a Diamond Light.......Hoddle & Waddle........Twaddle
