MackworthRamIsGod Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 Rhodes isn't a target, Nixon has said many times Rhodes is not interested in signing for another Championship team.The 'big' signing Nixon talks about is only a big signing in terms of wages, not fee.I was hazard a guess at Barton, because Bridcutt isn't happening, or someone a bit far out like Cole, Drogba, Terry etc (not saying any of those would join)Derby will not pay the sort of money it would take to get Rhodes. Supermac Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 When Mac got the Newcastle job I wondered if he might be cheeky and make a bid for Chris Martin. Given he's struggling to get backroom staff to go to Newcastle he's even more desperate for players. Rumours around Charlie Austin going is bullshit cos IMO he'll stay in London, so Mac needs a number 9 so if all else fails get Chris Martin. Just a thought!!
