Utd actually bid for Ramos

Been reported that Utd and Madrid have been talking for a while about it.

Got to be something hidden in the deal for that to be acceptable surely?

I don't think he will leave. Will be funny when he signs a new contract and Man utd fans will say "we didn't need him." Sky Sports talk a lot of rubbish. They said that sky sources told them Vidal to Arsenal was confirmed when the rumour was made by a twitter troll and he laughed at how stupid the media are.

Taken from the real madrid forum "Its hard here to know who says what as they all report on each others stories but if it is Sky Sports then you can discount it as rubbish. Sky owns a betting website and essentially a football rumours tv channel. No surprise they often report a big rumour, make the odds great, then drop the story once they make their money.

should be illegal imo."

I know they are biased but it's pretty true. If I remember correctly sky also ran the story Bryson to QPR after we lost the play off final.

Sky get a lot right as well, be unfair to say it's all rubbish.

Have to remember agents use Sky to ruffle feathers. I can see Ramos leaving, been at Real pretty much all his career, won everything he can, why not take on a last challenge like trying to win the Prem?

Di Maria there who he knows well and De Gea. I can see it happening.

United might have been crap recently but the club is still a huge pull across Europe for any player.

Sergio Ramos has been tipped to leave Real Madrid this summer, and United's interest isn't particularly surprising given they need a new defender and the new PL deal means they can pay him more than RM are willing to.

Reports say he was a big Ancelotti fan and Benitez doesn't fill him with confidence.

But likewise with Di Maria, RM aren't willing to pay him what he feels his worth. Ronaldo's yearly salary is so big that there is a big gap between his and the rest - but they're not a one-man team so is this really fair?

One of two things will happen this summer. RM will cave and offer him a new money-spinning deal, or he'll be sold to United in deal which will probably see De Gea head the other way.

His mum has spoken.....

When asked if her son intended to continue at the Bernabeu, she said: "Of course. Real Madrid above all."
She was also asked about the possibility of Ramos leaving to join Manchester United, to which she responded: "No. I think not, let’s go…He wants Spain."

When he does eventually sign a new contract sky will hope that everyone forgets about what they said just like the gundogan deal

Why would they want you to forgot? They've reported that United have bid for him (which is true), not that they're going to sign him.

They said that Ramos wants to join Man Utd ,wants to leave real madrid as soon as possible and that he dreams of playing in the premier league(cringe). They even confirmed Gundogan to Man Utd. Ironically he has signed a new contract at Dortmund now

Let's wait and see if it happens then shall we? There's no point ridiculing sky over something when you don't even know if it's true or not.

As for Gundogan, I can almost guarantee they didn't confirm a deal without it being real. Perhaps they said it was close but that's not the same thing.

"I know Sergio has told the general manager to listen to offers they get from Manchester United," said Calderon, who served as president of the Spanish club from 2006 to 2009.

"He only wants to go to United."
