Suitable loan deal if Thorne is out injured..?

We do not need more midfielders! Bring in anymore and we'll have a squad big enough to have a reserve team that'd still win the league. But on a serious note, Hanson can cover, formations can be moved to accommodate and even so, if Thorne had a serious (2+weeks) injury then we'd probably know about it

Can see Bridcutt joining one of our rivals for promotion and being an absolute revelation.

Perhaps, but there is no justification in acquiring a player just to stop somebody else doing so.

Let him go to a rival? What's the point in getting a player in for the sake of it. He's not a patch on thorne. From what I can remember he's a no nonsense defensive mid but lacks greatly in his passing side of the game so maybe even Hanson is a better option as he loves a tackle but is also very good on the ball. There's also BJ, I know it's not his preferred position but can play there and still probably do a better job than Bridcutt.

sunderland will want almost all his wages covered and maybe even a sizeable loan fee after the crazy fee paid for vydra for a year

If we play 4-3-3 Imo we need a first class understudy for George. He may miss quite a few games. Hanson.....possibly but very inexperienced. Johnson.............a waste of his real talent. Hendrick?........just no! Bryson...Forget it! Baird..........possibly but nowhere near what we need in that position. Either get someone like Bridcutt or change the shape and ditch 4-3-3.
