mrram
to not even get a point of a team like barnsley is terrible...a homeground should be a fortress...if we cant win our home matches then we havent got a hope in hell this season..cloughie needs to get the lads together n get some confidence back into his side...we wer 1-0 up and then to go 3-1 down is not acceptable
Dangerous
Tonight was a disgrace.Barnsley are rubbish.just shows what we are.Lets be honest,we havent got the players or the management to compete at this level. It is utter garbage. Perky1106
We've got the players. We've got the manager who has done 50% of his job perfectly. However, the rest of it has been pure dross, comprised of naivety and appalling decisions. It should have been us scoring 3 goals tonight.
Dangerous
i would love to agree with you but I cant.We have too much crap in the team.Bywater, connolly,Teale, theres a start.Commons doesnt seem interested. Then look at our bench..... Perky1106
Hulse, Addison, Buxton and Savage have looked fantastic. Croft, Commons, Teale, Pearson and Green are all luxuries. Moments of excellence and the rest crap.
mrram
lets be hone guys we do only have to look at the bench...i mean look at our no2 keeper...soul deeny thats a discrace hes a 4th rate keeper...i do believe cloghie is up to the job but he does need to sort things out behind the scenes...the defence is dyer if were honest we need to get a good strong centre back in the side

We have capable players there but since Billy Davies was in charge in 2006/07, no manager has managed to organise a bunch of capable professionals. Claude Davis and Martin Albrechtson were reported to be experience but they didn't add much to the squad's depth and change results.

Welcome to the board btw mrram it's good here. i agree hes a good player bt i if a players form drops whats the best thing to do....make hm fight 4 his place and show him that no one is ammune to being dropped...if we had a half decent keeper to stick in the net 4 a couple of games to tell bywater his place isnt guarenteed i think it would help..but we dont....and thanks alot...ye i do like it
Day
Right its the next day and I think I've just about managed to convince myself we've just hit a patch of bad form, we were never going to be at the top fighting for promotion, mid table mediocre teams have several spells where nothing will go right for them. Take Sheffield Wednesday for example, a proper mid table mediocre team, not going anywhere unless serious investment is made. Last season they picked up just 1 win in August, racked up 4 losses in October, only 2 wins through November and December and not 1 win in March. They finished 12th last season, if Derby finish 12th this season that would be a major improvment than last season. Now I know that is hardly inspiring although for this Derby team to finish 12th would be a major achievement and unless the board start backing Cloughie with real funds in the transfer market starting with a new keeper this is what being a Derby fan will be like. Saying that look around us in the table if Derby, had spent £5-6m in the summer I'd expect a hell of alot more than 1 win from 7, things are not great but they could be a hell of alot worse. Newty Ram
The board needed and need to invest. This is not good enough,we are Derby County not some **** team up the road. I will keep renewing my season ticket but quite a few I know won't and Im affraid the board have become very complaicent with our fans because we are one of the most loyal in the country.WRONG if this continues then the crowds will go down. Ok Cloughy has made a few mistakes but with what he had to spend he couldn't do much. I am sick of the board saying we are bringing the dept down etc.Thats great but they need to get some investers in who have money for this graet club because clearly at present the yanks don't Anyway rant over and I expect **** for this but I don't care.I am a loyal supporter and passionate about my club like lots of people on here and what is happening can't continue
Day
Not sure why you think you'l get ***** for your post, as the weeks go by I think more and more people are realising what the problem here is. When Cloughie came he said he wanted to sign young hungry players who want to play for the club and clear the ***** out. For me Dickov and Hendrie don't fall into this category, both are has beens and looking for there final bumper pay check. Theres only so many young players you can bring in from the lower leagues, we need players with experience at this level and they are going to cost, but who says we have to buy them? what happened to the young Premiership players coming into the club?. why can't we offer Vokes regular first team action when we only have 2 strikers? all questions lead to money.
